Founder and Head Coach

Siddhant Gautam founded eldr. in 2024 and has since served as its Head Coach. He has been consistently committed to popularising competitive debate among students and schools, with a focus on building access, quality training, and long-term competitive growth. As a speaker, Siddhant has competed at the highest levels of the Indian circuit, including speaking in Varsity Finals at Motilal Nehru BP. Uniquely, while still in high school, he was among the very few—and potentially the only—debater to break as an adjudicator at Cambridge ABP, later also breaking as an adjudicator at TransPacific WSDC, an international online major. These achievements reflect early and sustained recognition of his judging ability across formats and circuits. Under his leadership and coaching, eldr. has received international recognition, with students securing Top 10 rankings at Ivy League–affiliated stages, including Yale TOC and Harvard–DAIS, on two separate occasions.

Debate Coach and Senior Adjudicator

Abhijit Kartikeya is a debate coach and adjudicator with experience across British Parliamentary (BP) and Asian Parliamentary Debate (APD) formats on Indian and international circuits. He has served as an invited adjudicator at international tournaments including the Vienna International Debating Championship (VIDC), Vienna BP, and Japan BP, and has adjudicated deep elimination rounds at events such as Tokyo IV. In APD, he has sat on open break panels and chaired elimination rounds at tournaments including CNLU Parliamentary Debate, Calcutta Open, CVSPD, and the international Xavier Cup, and has received strong judge rankings for clarity and comparative adjudication. As a speaker, he has broken and reached elimination rounds at major BP and APD tournaments, including winning an Opening Government Final at the East India Pre-WUDC.

LUI PAIKRAY is a debate coach and competitive speaker focused on training students for the parliamentary debate circuit and WSDC-style formats. He has coached 50+ students, emphasizing core debating competencies such as case construction, role fulfillment, comparative weighing, and judge adaptation, while grounding students in pragmatic, round-winning decision-making. As a competitor, he has recorded consistent success across major collegiate tournaments, including being a Novice Finalist at MNBPD 2025, 1st Novice Reserve at the Premchand Memorial Debate 2025, a Semi-Finalist at Gambit 2025, and 2nd Best Novice Speaker at NRMD 2025, alongside tournament victories at MDI Tarq Colosseum, Jaswant Kaur National Memorial Debate 2025, and DRC Controversus 2025. He has also been recognised as 3rd Best Speaker at NSS CD 2025 and placed 3rd at the RLAC Policy Debate 2024. In addition to debating, he has chaired 10+ MUNs and won 10+ MUN awards, informing his coaching with strong adjudicative awareness. He is currently pursuing Business Economics at Delhi University (Maharaja Agrasen College) and works to build debaters who are analytically rigorous, strategically flexible, and competitive at the highest levels of school and collegiate debate.
